Eleonore Emsbach joined the Deutsches Filminstitut in 2007. Until 2016 she worked as an archivist in the non-film collections. Since 2015 she is data coordinator for the “EFG – The European Film Gateway”, the aggregator of European film archives towards Europeana, and is responsible for the film domain helpdesk of the German Digital Library (DDB). Eleonore Emsbach studied at the University of Frankfurt, Germany, and the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, Germany. She holds a master’s degree in Theatre, Film and Media Studies and English Linguistics and a second master’s degree in Archival Science.
