Bianca Sedmak

Bianca Sedmak has been working with Deutsches Filminstitut & Filmmuseum (DFF) since 2015 as head of filmography for filmportal.de, the institute’s central internet platform on German cinema. She is responsible for the coordination and prioritization of filmographic data entries and the contact between filmographic database and digital projects in DFF. She has also strongly been involved with the consulting and coordination of the project concerning the exchange of filmographic data between Bundesarchiv and DFF (2017–2020). Since September 2019 she has been coordinating the integration of filmographic data from the Cinematography of Holocaust (CDH) into filmportal’s filmographic database. Bianca Sedmak studied at Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany. She holds a master’s degree in Media and Cultural Praxis: History, Aesthetics and Theory.
