The VHH project’s Media Management and Search Infrastructure (MMSI) offers new ways to explore historical films and relate visual sources depicting the liberation of the concentration camps.
This presentation introduces the work of the research and innovation action “Visual History of the Holocaust: Rethinking Curation in the Digital Age”. It presents the newly developed platform VHH-MMSI and some of its features, specifically emphasizing the potential of tracing and analyzing relations between visual representations from the period of liberation and their afterlife in popular culture.
